The gallery has an enviable position on the cobbled quayside of the historic Barbican area of Plymouth. It is housed in the former R. O. Lenkiewicz building opposite the customs house. From the ground floor a spiral staircase leads up to an attractive gallery space with exposed roof beams, high ceilings and an intriguing layout.
